Experience
I have been tutoring students for the past ten years. My main experience has been with elementary children, but I have done some tutoring at the middle and high school levels as well. I've tutored in every subject and am comfortable tutoring at any elementary grade level. Also, I have experience with special needs students, have taken classes through college, and have personally taught my own class of special needs students at one of the local elementary schools. I've taught leveled reading groups, tutored students, and tested them through my volunteer jobs, position at a local school, and my volunteering at most of the elementary schools in the area. I love tutoring because helping children learn, grow, and discover is a passion of mine. Seeing the light bulb come on and knowing I helped make it happen is such a rewarding experience!

I love to scrapbook, read, be outside, and watch movies in my spare time. More importantly, I spend time volunteering, and I love babysitting children! Also, I am a Big through Big Brothers Big Sisters, and I tutor my Little along with doing other positive activities with her. I enjoy helping others.
